Lil Pump Arrested For Firing Gun In Home And Blaming It On “Three Black Men”
Florida rapper Lil Pump was arrested Wednesday night after he discharged a weapon inside his home and told cops “three Black Men” were attempting to break in.
According to a report from The Blast, police responded to Pump’s home with full lights and sirens, including a helicopter after it was reported that a burglary was in progress. When cops arrived there was no burglary going on, instead, they found a bullet hole in the front door.
Pump, 17, reportedly told law enforcement that “three black men” tried to force their way into his 3rd-floor apartment. However, it was quickly determined that his story was “made up” after police analyzed the bullet hole and realized the shot had come from inside not outside as the rapper had claimed.
A few hours later, police returned to Pump’s residence with a search warrant and found an unloaded .380-Glock handgun in the bushes below the balcony. Detectives also found ammo and weed inside the apartment.
Pump was arrested and booked into a juvenile detention center. He was charged with discharging a firearm inside a dwelling. His mother, who was not home at the time, is reportedly under investigation by the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services for child endangerment.
Pump has since been released from police custody and is under house arrest.
