Twitter Drags Miley Cyrus Back To Tennessee For Listening To Offset’s Song After Claiming She ‘Can’t Listen To Rap’
Miley Cyrus felt the wrath of Black Twitter after she tweeted a video of herself dancing to Offset’s “Ric Flair Drip” on St. Patrick’s Day.
Dressed in a green leprechaun -themed costume, Cyrus sashayed around for a few seconds to the track before the video ends. She captioned the tweet with “RFD” and tagged Offset and Cardi B, drawing ire from their fans.
The 25-year-old singer and actress hasn’t been poppin’ lately after being accused of cultural appropriation following a short stint dabbling in rap culture and twerking around 2013 to 2014 which many claimed was just a ploy to boost her music career.
Last year, she dismissed rap and hip-hop in a May Billboard interview. Cyrus said that the genre was too vulgar for her and that she wanted to go back to her country roots.
“But I also love that new Kendrick [Lamar] song [“Humble”]: ‘Show me somethin’ natural like ass with some stretch marks,'” she explained. “I love that because it’s not ‘Come sit on my d*ck, suck on my c*ck.’ I can’t listen to that anymore. That’s what pushed me out of the hip-hop scene a little. It was too much ‘Lamborghini, got my Rolex, got a girl on my c*ck’ — I am so not that.”

Twitter saw through the facade. Users cited the 2017 interview as proof that she may have ulterior motives.
Offset, Cardi, Please do not give this Culture Vulture the time of day.
